The Featured Activities dashboard widget allows you to showcase a curated selection of activities that you want your users to find and engage with easily. You can create custom thumbnail images to represent the activities and configure how these are displayed to the user, either as a list or in a gallery view on your app's homepage.

1. In Cogniss Creator, navigate to Dashboard in the left sidebar.

2. Click on Add new widget in the top right of the page.

3. In the Dashboard widgets library, search for the Featured Activities widget and click Add. Return to the Dashboard by clicking on the cross in the top right.

4. The Featured Activities widget will now be on your Dashboard and ready for you to configure as needed.

5. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

1. In Widget label you can choose a title for your featured activities widget. This will be displayed to users in your app.

2. In Display type, click on the dropdown menu and select from Gallery or List view to match your preferred layout. If you do not update this field Gallery is applied as the default display type.

3. To add your first activity, click on +Add activity and select an activity from the dropdown menu.

4. Upload media is where you can upload a thumbnail image for your featured activities. To upload your image, click on Upload media. In the media library under App Files, click Upload media and select the image you want to upload. Once uploaded click on the image and you'll see a blue tick. Click Insert at the bottom of the page.

5. To add another featured activity simply click + Add activity and repeat the previous steps.

6. Once you have updated the widget, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

7. Open your app to preview the Featured Activities widget and to test that it works as expected.
