CoGrader offers flexible plans for individual educators and for schools and districts of all sizes. This article covers the free trial, what happens when it ends, and what each plan includes.
Free Trial
New CoGrader accounts start with a 90-day free trial that includes 1,000 gradings. You can see how many days and gradings you have left by clicking Menu, then Plan and billing in the left sidebar.
Accounts created before August 13, 2026 had the earlier 14-day trial with 350 gradings.
What Happens When Your Free Trial Ends
Once your trial ends (after 90 days or once you use your 1,000 gradings), you won't lose access to your account or your work. Your account moves to the free Starter plan automatically. You don't need to do anything.
You keep:
150 gradings per month
Full access to your graded assignments
The ability to keep building and sharing rubrics
You lose, unless you upgrade:
The trial's larger allowance (1,000 total gradings becomes 150 gradings per month)
Grammar check
Originality checks (AI and plagiarism). (one attempt in Free Trial)
On the Starter plan these features show a lock icon. Click Upgrade Now in the left sidebar at any time to get them back.

Great for trying out CoGrader or occasional classroom use
Individual Plan
Cost:
$19/month billed monthly
$15/month billed annually (26% discount)
CoGrader accepts several payment methods for individual teacher subscriptions through our secure checkout system.

If you are using an international card, your bank must allow international online transactions for the payment to go through successfully.

Log in to your CoGrader account.
Go to Menu → Plan and Billing.
Select the plan you want.
For schools, you may need to request a quote first before continuing the upgrade.
