How to Save Wallet Addresses for Faster Sending

Saving your frequently used wallet addresses makes sending crypto faster and reduces the risk of errors. Please note that you must be at least Tier 2 to send cryptocurrency to an external wallet.

Step-by-Step Guide

Whether you are on your computer or using your phone, the process is straightforward:

  1. Initiate the Transfer:

    • Desktop: Click Withdraw > Crypto > Next.

    • Mobile App/Website: Tap your Profile Icon > Withdraw Crypto.

  2. Select Your Asset: Search for and select the cryptocurrency you wish to send.

  3. Enter Address Details: You will be asked to choose between a saved address or a new one. Select New Wallet Address.

  4. Choose the Network: Select the correct blockchain network (e.g., ERC-20, BTC, Solana).

  5. Enter the Address: Paste the destination wallet address.

  6. Toggle to Save: Click the Save this wallet address toggle. You can usually give it a nickname (like "My Ledger" or "MetaMask") to find it easily next time!

โš ๏ธ Important Safety Reminders

Because blockchain transactions are irreversible, our team recommends keeping these three rules in mind:

  • Check the Network: Ensure the blockchain network you select at Coinstash matches the network supported by your receiving wallet. Sending funds via the wrong network may result in permanent loss.

  • Copy & Paste Only: Never type out a wallet address by hand. They are long, case-sensitive, and complex. Always use the copy/paste function or scan a QR code.

  • Tier 2 Requirement: If you recently joined, remember there is a 7-day period before you reach Tier 2. During this time, you can still sell your crypto and withdraw AUD to your bank account, but sending to external wallets is restricted for security and compliance.
