Requesting a Crypto Deposit Address (Low-Cap Coins)

Coinstash is committed to providing early access to a wide range of emerging low-cap coins. In some cases, we list these assets for trading before full automated wallet support is available.

Updated over 2 months ago

If you attempt to deposit a coin and see a message like "Couldn't get a deposit address" or "Asset is not supported by wallet service," you can still deposit your funds by making a manual request to our team.

How to Request an Address

  1. Initiate the Request:

    • Desktop/Mobile Web: Click the Request Deposit Address button.

    • Mobile App: Tap the Contact Support button.

  2. Start a Live Chat: This will open a window with our Brisbane-based support team.

  3. Provide Deposit Details: To help us track and credit your funds efficiently, our team will ask for:

    • The exact amount of crypto you intend to deposit.

    • Your estimated timeframe for the transfer.

  4. Receive Your Details: Our team will provide the unique wallet address and any required tags (like a Memo or Destination Tag) directly in the chat. If you leave the chat, these details will be emailed to you.

โš ๏ธ Critical Next Step: Finalizing Your Deposit

Once you have completed the transfer from your external wallet, you must provide us with the Transaction Hash (TXID).

Without this unique identifier, our team cannot manually verify the blockchain movement and credit the funds to your Coinstash balance. You can paste the TXID directly into your existing support chat.

Important Things to Remember

  • Tier 1 Requirement: Your account must be at least Tier 1 verified to initiate any cryptocurrency deposit.

  • Accuracy is Key: Ensure you use the exact network specified by our support team. Sending low-cap coins over the wrong network often results in the permanent loss of the assets.

  • Manual Processing: Because these deposits are handled manually by our team, they may take slightly longer to reflect in your account compared to automated deposits (like BTC or ETH).
