How to Check Crypto Withdrawal Network Fees

When you withdraw cryptocurrency to an external wallet, a network fee (often called a "gas fee") is applied. These fees are not kept by Coinstash; they are paid to the blockchain’s miners or validators to process your transaction.

Because network fees fluctuate based on how busy the blockchain is, we provide two ways to check them:

1. View the Complete Fee List (Desktop & Mobile Web)

If you want to see a full list of fees for all 1,000+ digital assets before you start a withdrawal, you can do so via our Fees page:

  1. Navigate to the Coinstash Fees Page.

  2. Scroll down to the "Cryptocurrency Deposits & Withdrawals" section.

  3. Click the link that says: "Click here to see all network fees."

  4. A window will pop up showing a searchable list of every coin and its current network fee.

2. Check the Live Fee During Withdrawal (Mobile App)

While a full list isn't currently viewable in a single menu within the mobile app, you can see the exact fee for any specific coin before you commit to the transaction:

  1. Tap Withdraw and select Crypto.

  2. Choose the coin you wish to withdraw and enter the destination address and amount.

  3. On the Review or Preview screen, the app will display a clear breakdown of the Network Fee and the final amount you will receive.

  4. The fee will only be deducted if you tap Confirm.

💡 Why do fees change?

  • Network Congestion: If many people are using a network (like Ethereum) at the same time, fees will rise.

  • Asset Type: Sending a simple Bitcoin transaction usually costs differently than moving a complex DeFi token.

  • Speed: Coinstash estimates these fees to ensure your transaction is processed by the network in a timely manner.
