Coinstash uses a 6-tier verification system. Your tier determines your daily deposit and withdrawal limits — the higher your tier, the higher your limits.

What Each Tier Requires
Tier 0 — View Only
No deposits or withdrawals. You can view the platform but cannot transact until you complete identity verification.
Tier 1 — Identity Verified
Verified photo ID, email address, and mobile number. AUD deposits and withdrawals up to $20,000/day. Unlimited crypto deposits. Crypto withdrawals are not yet available at this tier.
Tier 2 — Face Match
Everything in Tier 1, plus a Face Match check (a selfie matched against your ID). Unlocks crypto withdrawals up to $20,000/day.

Tier 3 — Proof of Address
Everything in Tier 2, plus a Proof of Address document — such as a utility bill, phone bill, or bank statement dated within the last 3 months. Increases all limits to $100,000/day.

Tier 4 — Source of Wealth
Everything in Tier 3, plus a completed Source of Wealth and Source of Funds declaration. Increases all limits to $1,000,000/day.

Tier 5 — Manual Approval
Everything in Tier 4, plus manual approval from Coinstash. Increases all limits to $10,000,000/day. Contact our team to discuss Tier 5 eligibility.

A few things to know
If an AUD deposit exceeds your daily limit, the remainder carries over to the following day. For example: if your limit is $20,000 and you deposit $30,000, you will be credited $20,000 on day 1 and $10,000 on day 2.

To upgrade your tier, navigate to My Account > Daily Limits > Edit and follow the verification steps for your target tier.
You can also downgrade your tier at any time to lower your daily limits.
