Troubleshooting Login & CAPTCHA Issues

If you're having trouble getting past the CAPTCHA or the "I'm not a robot" check, don't worry—this is a common security hurdle that usually comes down to your browser or network settings.

Here is how to fix it and get back into your account:

1. Disable Your VPN

To protect our 50,000+ Australian investors, Coinstash uses robust internal controls that often block traffic from Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). VPNs mask your true location, which can trigger our security filters.

  • The Fix: Turn off your VPN temporarily and refresh the login page.

2. "Shields Down" for Brave Browser

The Brave browser is excellent for privacy, but its built-in blockers often prevent CAPTCHA elements from loading correctly.

  • The Fix: Click the Lion icon (Brave Shields) in your address bar and toggle "Shields Up" to "Shields Down" specifically for coinstash.com.au. You can toggle it back on once you're logged in.

3. Clear Cookies & Refresh

Sometimes your browser stores an "expired" version of a security token, which causes the CAPTCHA to fail repeatedly.

The Fix:

  1. Go to your browser settings.

  2. Clear cookies for coinstash.com.au.

  3. Refresh the page and try logging in again.

4. Still Stuck? Talk to a Human

If you’ve tried the steps above and you’re still seeing errors, our Brisbane-based support team is ready to jump in.

  • How to reach us: Click the "Helpdesk" or "Support" bubble in the bottom-right corner of the login screen.

Important: Our team is online 7 days a week, from 9 am to 11 pm AEST. We can check if there’s a specific security block on your IP address and help you clear it.
