To ensure smooth processing and compliance, Coinstash only accepts AUD deposits from Australian bank accounts held in your own name. Some payment providers and services are not supported.
Not Accepted for Deposits
Coinstash does not accept deposits from the following:
Revolut β not accepted via any method, including BSB and account number transfers.
Wise (formerly TransferWise)
Airwallex
Swyftx or other crypto exchanges
Any other third-party remittance service or digital wallet not in your own name
Why Are These Not Accepted?
Coinstash is required to verify that all deposits come directly from a bank account held in your name. Deposits from third-party payment providers, remittance services, or exchanges cannot be verified in the same way and do not meet our compliance requirements.
What Happens if I Deposit via Revolut or a Third Party?
If a deposit is received from an unsupported provider such as Revolut, our team will contact you to complete the following steps before a refund can be processed:
Provide a bank statement showing your name and account details.
Provide the transaction receipt for the deposit.
Complete a short liveness verification.
Once verified, the deposit will be refunded to the bank details shown on your receipt β not to the account details stored in your Coinstash profile.
We are unable to credit unsupported deposits to your Coinstash account.
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
Coinstash accepts AUD deposits via direct bank transfer (BSB and account number) from an Australian bank account held in your own name. Popular supported banks include ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, NAB, Westpac, and most other major Australian financial institutions.
If you are unsure whether your payment method is supported, please contact our support team before making a deposit.
