You must have the correct wallet address for the recipient. Only send a cryptocurrency to a wallet that supports that same currency (e.g., send BTC only to a Bitcoin wallet).
Note: If you initiate a transfer, but no hash is generated after more than an hour, please reach out to support. The transfer likely failed and the funds will be returned to your account.
Warning: Sending to an incompatible wallet, on an incompatible chain, or without a required memo or Hash ID may result in permanent loss of funds.
Sending via ZoomMe
ZoomMe allows you to send funds instantly and for free to anyone with a CoinZoom account. Add their ZoomMe handle to your whitelist and choose to send crypto or USD. You can also send funds to people without a CoinZoom account—these recipients will receive an invite to sign up and claim the funds.
Tap Wallet.
Select the cryptocurrency to send.
Tap Send.
Enter the amount and tap Next.
Choose a saved wallet address or tap + to add a new one. You can scan a QR code for the wallet address.
Enter the name and wallet address or ZoomMe handle.
Tap Add Contact.
Select the contact and tap Next.
Confirm the amount and fees.
Tap Send.
Enter your 2FA one-time password (if enabled).
Sending to Friends in Your Phone’s Contact List
Choose the cryptocurrency to send.
Enter the amount and tap Next.
On the Contacts screen, tap the contact icon and select a person from your phone’s contacts.
Invite them to CoinZoom and let them know you sent funds.
Note: The recipient has 30 days to open an account and claim the funds. If they do not, the funds will be returned to your CoinZoom account.
