In order to spend with your CoinZoom Crypto Debit card, you must choose which currency to draw from each time you use your card. You can change it on the fly in your app at any time. When your card is first activated, the default spend currency is USD if it has an available balance. Otherwise, a different currency with a balance will be automatically selected.
An available balance means that the funds can be withdrawn immediately. Please see this article for details.
Go to the Spend tab and tap on the drop-down at the top of the screen. All of your eligible currencies will show here.
Choose USD or any other crypto with a positive balance to use as your spend currency.
Spend Wallet Tips
When you make a card transaction, CoinZoom will:
Sell enough coins from your Spend Wallet to cover the purchase in USD.
Process the sale as a market order (price may vary slightly).
Best Practices:
Select a coin with high trading volume (liquidity) for more stable pricing.
CoinZoom adds a 10% sell limit to help reduce price swings, but this is not foolproof for illiquid coins.
