Yes, you can transfer to Collegiate Mobile even if you’re currently on a Family Plan.
However, there are a few important things to keep in mind to ensure a smooth transfer:
Move the sub-lines first.
If you’re transferring multiple lines from a Family Plan, the sub-lines must be moved before the primary line (or Billing Responsible Party).Transferring the primary line first can cause conflicts and prevent the remaining lines from being moved successfully.
Obtain the correct account details.
Make sure each line has the required port-out information from your current carrier (e.g., account number, PIN/transfer PIN, billing ZIP).Transfer one line at a time.
Each number will need to be ported individually to ensure accuracy and avoid delays.Service on your current plan remains active until the transfer completes.
Your existing carrier will keep your service active until each line has successfully ported to Collegiate Mobile.Individual Billing for Each Line
Each line you port in or activate with Collegiate Mobile will be billed individually, as we do not offer a Family Plan. Please note that the billing cycle for each line may also differ depending on when you activate the line.
If you have any questions or inquiries, the Collegiate Mobile support team is happy to assist!
