When sending out a menu to the lead booker using Access Collins pre-orders there is a close pre-orders box which automatically defaults to five days before the booking date.

⚠️Important: If a cut-off date has been set for a pre-order, the customer will be notified of this in the original pre-order email.

If you would prefer the cut-off date to default to a different number of days before the booking date, you can set this up in your admin.

To do this, click:

  1. Settings, Sites, and then select the site.

  2. Click Pre-Orders.

  3. Add the number of days in the pre-order settings under Close pre-orders.

  4. Click Save.

If you would like to amend the defaulted date, you can change this to the preferred cut-off day within the enquiry, for example, two days before the booking date.

Once the date has passed, the links will become inactive and the customer will not be able to submit any more orders. Thus prompting the customer to contact your team directly.

If the date has passed and you are able to reopen the pre-order link manually if you wish.

📌Note: The cut-off for pre-orders can only be set as a date; it is not possible to set a time for the cut-off for pre-orders.
