This guide explains how to purchase, pay, and redeem your DET coupon step by step.
Step 1: Submit Your Interest Form
Visit the Comet x Duolingo English test on Comet.
Fill out the DET Inquiry Form to express your interest in purchasing the test.
Once you submit, our team will contact you shortly with the payment link.
Step 2: Complete Your Payment
You’ll receive an email from our team with a secure payment link (processed via Stripe).
Click on payment link and it will redirect you to the payment site- fill in the required details and complete the payment.
The test is available at a discounted price of $60 USD (retail price $70 USD).

Step 3: Accept Your Test Invitation
After payment, you’ll receive an invitation email from Duolingo English Test titled:
“Comet has invited you to take the Duolingo English Test!”Open the email and click on the “Accept Offer” button.
Step 4: Redeem Your Duolingo Coupon
Once you click on "Accept offer" it will take you directly to the Duolingo English Test website where you can proceed to register and take your test.
Click “Sign Up” in the top right corner and create your account.
Register using your email and password, then click “Continue”.
Answer a few questions to personalize your experience.
On your home page, click “Purchase a Test.”
Select 1 test (if you’re using a coupon).
Choose your preferred results delivery time (standard or same-day).
In the next screen, you will find a text box under “Subtotal” where you can input your coupon. You will be asked your name and surname. After this, click on “Use Coupon”.
You’ll be redirected to your home page — click “Start Test”.
Download the Duolingo English Test App and log in using your registered email.
Once the app is downloaded, open it and write down your email and password again. Then click on “Continue”. Now you are ready to start taking the Duolingo English Test!
