How does My Year in Comics work?
Updated over 3 months ago

My Year in Comics is an annual feature that recaps your reading activity for the year to see what it says about your top books, creators, characters, taste, and habits. This differs from Reading Stats available on the website or mobile app with unique twists.

How are these calculated?

Rather than simply taking the entire list of 2024 releases that you read, we leverage a combination of entries:

  • All comics you added to your Read List in the reported year, including only those that released in that year.

  • All comics you added to your Read List and Collection in the reported year, from any release year, that you also set a Purchase Date for in that reported year (verifying you read it that year explicitly).

  • All comics logged (with dates) to your Reading Log during the year. (active Pro/Patron only)

Why do you not include comics I have in my Read List?

Because you've only marked them as Read, we do not know WHEN you've read them. This is why the above combination works best. My Year in Comics is all about what you read during the reported year without making guesses.

Can I make changes and recreate My Year in Comics?

Yes. To do so, you would need to log new entries in your Reading Log (Pro/Patron only) during the reported year.

Can I share My Year in Comics?

Yes. While viewing any section of the My Year in Comics, tap the "Share" button below it. You can share these images to social media, your friends, the League Community Feed, etc.

How long will the My Year in Comics be available?

This feature is only available for a limited time - several weeks - but will return next year.
