Who should be listed as a team?

Any significant team consisting of at least four members (active or former) from a comic universe that has existed for at least five issues.

Universe

Character universes are associated based on where they originated.

  • As DC Comics continues to make retroactive changes with continuity, we will be maintaining Prime Earth as the "Omniverse". All Pre-Crisis, Post-Crisis, etc. will be labeled as Prime Earth, for simplicity.

  • Do not place a universe in their name unless the team exists across multiple universes/Earths within DC or Marvel and we do not have a Universe page.

Short Summary

The Short Summary should summarize what the team is about without referring to publication history.

  • Keep it short. Roughly shorter than 6 sentences / 2 paragraphs.

  • Focus on describing the character as effectively as possible within the first two sentences.

  • Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

Team History

The Team History covers the team's publishing history and storylines. Think of it as an extended summary.

  • The Team History can include headers on various topics.

  • Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

Team Members

The Team Members list is for all active and former team members to be associated.

  • Characters cannot be within both statuses (active and former).

  • If the character is always within the team, regardless of the persona, use the base character. It will apply the Team affiliation to all personas.

  • If the character has one or more personas, but not all, when within the team - use the most recent persona to be within the team.
