Need for Media Planner?
While features such as Budget Optimizer, Campaign Optimizer, and Hourly Bidder focus on improving ad efficiency, Media Planner's purpose is to inform future planning through estimating budget needed in order to achieve set goals.
Currently the process of identifying this budget is based on a mix of guesswork/intuition and data backing usually handled internally within the customer organization.
What is Media Planner?
An in-product simulation feature to help customers automatically estimate the budget requirement by each month, quarter, and year given a certain SoV/OPS/Sales goal.

Getting Started
CIQ's Media Planner can be accessed located in the Advertising section.
Navigate to My Workspace > Advertising > Media Planner
Click Generate Plan for generating a media plan. This leads the user to the page where a budget plan is available for further customizations.
