Once the targets and any special events have been finalised for the plan, users can generate the plan using Update Plan. On clicking Update Plan the generated budget plan appears as shown below.

The highlighted row in blue showcases the defined metrics for the plan which has been generated.

The highlighted metrics include Planned Budget, Ad Spend, Percentage of the spend till date.

The metric also displays the cumulative difference of the spend compared to the planned budget for a chosen date. It also shows the underspend percentage of the budget planned.

The Budget Optimizer data has a lag of two days. Hence any update to the plan will always show data of two days prior to the current date.

Users can define the Time period of a plan they wish to analyze using the Calendar icon at the top right side of the panel.

The Summary view displays a detailed summary of the budget plan across portfolios for different time period as defined by the user. The column display the spend versus budget details across month/quarter/year. The underspend details are highlighted in green and underspend in red across columns.

The Actions section display the recommendations to be acted upon in order to bridge the gap between planned budget and spend. The recommendations are either campaign based or bid based to maximise sales.

Clicking the actions recommended takes users to the page where all recommended budget actions for increase and decrease in the budget are displayed. The tip highlights the detailed reason why the algorithm is recommending the suggested increase/decrease in the budget for the campaign.

Users have the discretion to either accept or reject the recommendations.

Users can accordingly view the recommendations for bids by the dropdown as shown .
