4. Chart | Multi-time Frame (MTF) Layout

Updated over a year ago

The layout of the Multi-time chart can be understood as:

The first column display the Metrics. Users can remove or add up to 10 metrics and reposition these metrics vertically using the Edit icon.

All columns display the time frames selected. By default the system selects shorter time frames of trailing three weeks on the left and larger time frames of MTD, QTD, YTD on the right.

Users can remove or add up to 20 time frames and reposition them to their liking by using the Edit icon.

Each cell of the table represents the value of the metric (row) for the time frame (column). Along with the metric aggregate for the time frame, users can also view comparisons with two Previous Periods (PP) and the same period Last Year (LY).

If there is a JSP (Joint Success Plan) defined and identified to the metric, use the goal target for the period in the cell.

Show data selector for: User can control the amount of information that they see in the table by hiding and showing JSP, PP pvp, and LY pvp.

Highlight cell selector: User can pick one reference point for comparison from JSP goal, PP pvp, and LY pvp to highlight the cell. If the metric has outperformed the cell background changes to green. If it has underperformed, the cell becomes red.

Existing charts can be deleted, repositioned, cloned, edited, and shared over email respectively as required by the user using the icons.

Cloning the existing chart places an exact copy of the chart right below it.

Editing an existing chart enables user to modify the chart name or configure metrics and time frames. The metrics within the chart can be configured by adding, deleting, or repositioning as required. This enables users to customize the report layout.

The charts can either be saved as a new chart or the changes can be applied only to the report.
