Dashboard Walkthrough

Overall Shelf View

This helps users to save the combination of filters, date range and competitors to easily access the required information in just a click.

The Star allows users to add to the insights to the personal workspace for an easy access.

Users can save custom views for easy access to the insights.

Note: These views will be visible to all users with a platform access.

Global Filters

Users can choose their keyword set of interest from the global filters. They can filter keywords by -

  • Profile

  • Shelf (Standard Shelf / Custom Shelf)

  • Keyword text (substring match)

The Time period of data availability will be mentioned at the bottom of the panel. Users can select the timeframe they wish to analyze from the Calendar icon the top right side of the panel.

Users can select a custom timeframe or any one of the default time windows available using the Date range picker and select a timeframe for comparison using Compare to.

Due to the timing of scrapes, it is recommended to select a longer time frame of 1 - 2 weeks to ensure data accuracy.

Users can also write expressions to filter data for specific keywords using Add Filters.

Keywords can be filtered using the Keyword Type.

SoV data for different slots or for the full page 1 can be viewed by Share of Voice In.

Share of Voice Type helps to see information for organic or sponsored listings.

My Brands helps to view data across all brands or a specific brand in individual portfolio.

Apply enables to view a filtered view of the data.


Once you have set up your specific view, you can start reviewing the data. The widgets provide you an overall view as well as trends over time.

The left side provides an overall view of the data aggregated across all keywords selected using the Global Filters. You can see the number of keywords crawled, top competitors and change in SoV over time on each of them. To see the sub brands under My Brands, hover over the My Brand section of the pie chart.

From the right side users can benchmark SoV over time against any competitor brand from here. Use it to understand weeks where the SoV is high, when it falls and who is winning SoV from you.

Users can download the current view of the dashboard as a Excel file.


Share of Voice Breakdown View

Select Level of Custom Shelf
Users can choose the level of the custom shelf to view from here, all the way from Level 1 down to Keywords. The levels correspond to the hierarchy constructed in Standard Shelves. All custom shelves by default are Level 1. This visualization lets you see SoV on shelves side-by-side. You can go to Level = Keywords to see each keyword as a shelf, thereby seeing top competitors at that level.

Shelf
Similar to the Overall Shelf, this can represent a set of keywords or individual keyword, and helps you understand your competitive standing on the shelf.

Number of Keywords
This refers to the number of keywords that constitute the shelf.

Hierarchy Tree
You can see the Hierarchy tree path of the shelf in question.

Filter Shelves
You can filter the shelves by any ad or share metric. You can also choose whether to filter the shelf by the absolute value, or PvP change value of the metric.

Sort Shelves
You can sort the shelves by any ad or share metric. You can also choose whether to sort the shelf by the absolute value, or PvP change value of the metric. This is useful when you want to understand top gainers and losers on any metric at a keyword level.

Reverse Sort Order
By default, the data is sorted in descending order of the chosen metric. You can reverse the sort order by clicking on the arrow icon.


Performance Overview View

The Performance Overview section allows users to plot trends and look at aggregate share and ad metrics at the keyword level. You can also compare types of SoV from here.

Example: Organic Page 1 SoV vs Sponsored Page 1 SoV

Users can plot a maximum of 3 metrics at once. You can replace any of the metrics with another, and plot different types of SoV against each other.

By default, the chart shows aggregate numbers across all keywords in scope. You can also choose an individual keyword to plot metrics.

You can click on the table view to view the entire dataset; all metrics are provided along with the ability to download the data for custom analysis.


Opportunity Analysis Dashboard View

The Opportunities Analysis section allows users to analyze trending and declining keywords to help build campaign strategies.

You can access pre-defined use cases, which will automatically set the right axes and radius values for quick analysis.

Users can select the metrics they wish to see on the X and Y axes respectively to create custom view. Similar to dimensions, users can also set the metric based on which they want to size the bubbles in the chart.

One can filter the data based on any ad or share metric, to reduce the number of bubbles in the chart.

One can also switch to Table View, which gives a detailed view of the data points under each quadrant. This view has no limit on the number of data points that can be housed.
