Let us take a closer look at the elements of AI Goal Optimizer.
Getting Started
CIQ's AI Goal Optimizer tool can be accessed located in the Advertising section.
Click Setup optimization for defining an optimization plan. This leads you to the page where the budget plan and goals can be defined.
This setup process is for first time users. Once the optimization setup is completed. you can view the monitoring dashboard as shown in the sample here.
The sample shown here shows your current optimization setup.
General Setup
The setup process begins with defining the budget plan level using Retailer Categorization or Internal Categorization, planning period and the goal metric.
The different budgeting/optimization levels that are currently available for different retailers are as follows:
Amazon
Walmart
Future support is planned for : Sam's Club , Target, Criteo Retailers, Chewy
The image below shows a sample optimization plan defined by the user.
The budget levels, planning period and goals may be changed at any point of time, however that will reset all historical budget and utilization data. Additionally, providing level 1 input for optimization scope is necessary but level 2 input is optional.
When you select Internal categorization you can choose from the campaign taxonomies you have already created. All taxonomies created by you will appear in the dropdown, and you can select them in any order of level1, and level2.
The option to Pre-fill goals for categorization helps you setup things quickly as it pre-fills all goals based on a particular goal metric chosen out of Incremental Return on Ad Spend (iRoAS) or Return on Ad Spend (RoAS) or Share of Voice (SoV).
Once set, the user can view these goals prefilled in the Goals & Budget page for all the Level2 categories, if Level2 too has been defined, else Level1 categories, if only Level1 is defined.
Once all criteria have been selected, click Next to proceed.
