CommissionCrowd Agent Etiquette and Standards of Performance

We want you to be successful selling on CommissionCrowd so we’ve set up these guidelines for you and the agents on our platform.

Our core mission is to continuously drive forward and innovate within the independent sales industry. The quality of one member affects the reputation of all, so please work together with us to create the best possible experience when using our service.

Please note that we have the right to suspend or remove an account at any time if users are not in accordance with our terms. I’m sure you will find they are very straightforward and agreeable.

Do's:

  1. Respond to invitations to apply from companies within a timely manner (48 hours).

  2. Politely decline interviews for companies you do not have an interest in selling

  3. Show up on time for scheduled interviews

  4. Maintain a complete and accurate profile

  5. Update your visibility if you are not currently looking for new opportunities

  6. Politely communicate over the phone and via email/message with prospective partners

  7. Include a thoughtful cover message with applications specifically highlighting your skill set as it applies to the opportunity

Don'ts:

  1. Charge a consultation fee for an interview or initial meeting

  2. Ask for a retainer or stipend  - The agents on our platform are independent 100% commission agents.

  3. Represent an agency as an individual (we welcome agencies on our platform, please be transparent)

  4. Offer any services besides that of a commission-only independent salesperson

  5. Send unsolicited mass emails or spam

  6. Sign agreements with companies with whom you are not serious about engaging

We're glad to have you and look forward to watching your success on CommissionCrowd!
