Can I sync my wearable fitness devices with the Community Challenge App?

We’re thrilled to announce that the Community Challenge app now integrates seamlessly with Apple Health and Google Fit. This means your healthy habits can be automatically tracked and reflected in your Challenge progress!

Please note: At this time, other applications such as MyFitnessPal or Garmin are not directly compatible with the Community Challenge app.

How to Sync Your Health Data:

  1. Open the Community Challenge app.

  2. Tap Menu (top-left corner of the home screen) and select Health Data Sync.

  3. Grant permissions by choosing Allow All Categories or selecting specific activity permissions.

  4. Enable the Auto Sync toggle switch to ensure all your physical activity is automatically imported.

Important Information About Syncing:

  • The first attempt at syncing your health data may take longer than expected. This is due to the app processing historical activity logs stored on your wearable device.

  • Subsequent syncs will be much faster, as the app will only need to update with new activity data moving forward.
