During the Community Challenge, individual participants will earn points for the first 15 activities per day. This includes reported individual health actions, group activity check-ins, and destination check-ins. You can report all your health actions, but you will only receive points for the first 15 reports that are logged per 24-hour period (12:00am CT to 11:59pm CT). Physical activity reports automatically synced via Apple Health or Google Fit are also counted towards your daily limit.
See below for all the ways individual participants can earn points throughout Community Challenge. All points will count towards your organization, school district, and community that are selected in the mobile app’s “My Profile.”
One-Time Bonus Points
Early Registration (500 points) - Participants who register before January 13th will receive a bonus of 500 points to kickstart their journey.
Activation Bonus (1000 Points): The first time you log ANY health action, you will be awarded 1000 points! To encourage all participants to engage, activation points are replacing the standard one-time registration points awarded in previous challenges.
Health Champion Pledge (1000 points): Review and submit your Health Champion Pledge on the home screen of your app to earn 1000 points! Please note this does count towards your limit of 15 activities per day.
Surveys (500 points each) - Participants can earn 500 points for each of the three surveys—Pre-Challenge, Post-Challenge, and the Marketing Survey—and an additional 500 points for completing both the Pre and Post surveys.
Ongoing Opportunities to Earn Points
Report a Health Action: (50 points)
Each day during the Challenge, report all your healthy eating, physical activity, and water consumption to earn points.
Each time you report a health action, you’ll earn 50 points! If you forget to log an activity, it's not a problem! You can retroactively report health actions up to 48 hours later.
NOTE: While there are app fields for you to log the duration or distance of certain activities, and document whether meals included fruits or vegetables, none of these factors will change the number of points earned. Excluding specific health actions highlighted through weekly mini-challenges, healthy actions earn the same number of points regardless of any additional information you may include (fruits / veggies logged, distance, duration, or amount consumed).
In-App Referrals: (500 points)
Referred participant must register for the Community Challenge, download the app, and log a healthy action in the app in order to qualify.
Community Challenge Badges
Throughout the Challenge participants can earn badges based on their participation throughout the completion. The details regarding what's required to earn each badge are noted in the app and available to participants in the app's dashboard.
Bronze Badge: 500 points
Silver Badge: 1250 points
Gold Badge: 3125 points
Note: Bonus points earned for Badges are not reflected in a participants User Journey points chart. Participants can, however, see bonus points they've earned by viewing their specific community in the leaderboard.
