Updated this week

The Review Stage column in the Qualification Requests Table tracks the status of a subcontractor’s qualification request. This column includes four distinct stages that help monitor and manage the review process:

1. COMPASS

2. In Review

3. Changes Required

4. Canceled

Navigating the Review Stage Column

1. Go to the menu bar and select the Qualification Management tab.

2. Scroll to the right in the Qualification Requests Table to locate the Review Stage column.

Review Stage Descriptions

1. COMPASS

This status indicates that the COMPASS team is actively managing the qualification request and gathering necessary information from the subcontractor.

Key Details:

• The COMPASS status cannot be manually changed by users.

• A request in this status remains COMPASS’s responsibility.

2. In Review

This status indicates the qualification request is ready for review by the General Contractor (GC).

Automatic Triggers:

A qualification request automatically transitions to In Review when:

• The subcontractor has registered.

• The subcontractor has submitted a valid 1Form.

• Analytics has run on the 1Form submission, and it meets the GC’s definition of completeness.

Workflow Initiation:

If a workflow is configured, this status will initiate the review workflow.

3. Changes Required

This status indicates that the General Contractor needs to take action to progress the qualification request.

Automatic Triggers:

A request transitions to Changes Required when:

• The COMPASS status has been set to Escalated.

• Analytics has run, but the Completeness requirements (as defined by the GC) have not been met.

Completeness Notes:

• The Completeness bubble may appear partially filled, showing some missing requirements.

• To move forward:

• The subcontractor must resubmit and provide the missing information, or

• The GC can manually mark non-critical documents as exceptions to proceed with the qualification process.

4. Canceled

This status cancels the qualification request and removes the subcontractor from the table.

Action Prompt:

Upon selecting Canceled, a confirmation prompt will appear with two options:

“Yes, cancel review”: The subcontractor is removed from the Qualification Requests Table.

“No, return to list”: The action is undone.

Important Note:

• The Canceled status applies to any stage and does not interrupt a completed qualification.

Automatic Changes in Review Stages

A review stage can change automatically under the following conditions:

1. GC Completeness Gauge:

Based on the requirements set by the GC’s completeness gauge (configured by the COMPASS Analytics team), the status may shift automatically, e.g., from In Review to In Progress.

2. Data Expiry:

If subcontractor data expires, the status may revert to an earlier stage.

Manually Changing Review Stages

Users can manually update a review stage (e.g., from Changes Required to In Review).

Impact:

Changing a status triggers the configured workflow to start, ensuring progress through the review process.

Summary

The Review Stage column offers clear visibility into the qualification process, highlighting both COMPASS and GC responsibilities. Automatic triggers streamline status updates, while manual adjustments allow GCs to take control when needed.
