Workflow Notes can only be added by admin and prequalification users. When shared, they are visible to all users.
How to Create and View Workflow Notes
Navigate to Qualification Management
Open the menu tab and select Qualification Management.
2. In the Qualification Requests table, locate the specific subcontractor.
3. Access Notes
Click the dropdown icon at the end of the subcontractor’s row to reveal available options.
4. Select View Notes from the dropdown menu.

5. Using the Workflow Notes Flyout
The workflow notes flyout will appear, displaying all shared notes (if any) and providing an option to add new notes.
6. Click inside the greyed-out text box and type your note.
7. Sharing Options
Check the Make note visible to all employees box to share the note with all your company users.
If checked: All employees with a COMPASS account will see who created the note and when it was added.
If unchecked: The note will only be visible to admin and prequalification users.
8. Save the Note
Click the Add Note button in the bottom-right corner to save your note. The button will change to dark grey when hovered over.
Your note will now appear in the flyout, showing the creation date, visibility settings, and content.
Notes will no longer be visible once the subcontractor is assigned a qualification status and removed from the qualification requests table.
How to Edit a Workflow Note

Click the purple Edit button to modify the note.
Notes can be edited but not deleted entirely.
Alternative Way to Access Notes
1. Access the Details Tab
Hover between the company name and projects on the Company Requests table, then click the Details label.
2. Open the Notes Icon
In the flyout that appears, locate and select the notes icon on the right-hand side.
Follow the same steps outlined above to view or add notes.
