Accessing Subcontractor Settings
1. Go to Settings from the COMPASS main menu.
2. Select Subcontractor Settings from the sidebar menu on the left.
Qualification Sharing
The Qualification Sharing section allows you to share or hide qualifications, including Single and Aggregate Limits with subcontractors.
• Select Yes to share qualifications, including Single and Aggregate Limits, with subcontractors.
• Select No to keep this information hidden from subcontractors.
Qualification Notifications
The Qualification Notifications section lets you automate notifications to subcontractors:
• Notify subcontractors when a company qualification is completed (excluding Denied): Check this box to automatically notify subcontractors when their company qualifications are approved or updated.
• Notify subcontractors when a project approval flow is completed (excluding Denied): Check this box to notify subcontractors when a project approval process has been successfully completed.
Profile Views Sharing
This setting allows you to let subcontractors know when you have viewed their COMPASS profile. This feature increases transparency and helps drive stronger subcontractor engagement.
Subcontractors receive a weekly notification summarizing all general contractors on the platform who viewed their profile.
Subcontractors are encouraged to share access to their financial information with you.
Engagement improves because subcontractors know you are actively reviewing them and can reach out proactively.
By default, this setting is turned ON.
Keeping it enabled promotes better communication and more productive outreach with subcontractors.
Saving Settings
After configuring your preferences, click the Save Settings button in the bottom-right corner to ensure all changes are applied.
