Choose which currency displays by default when performing actions throughout COMPASS

Overview

This article describes how to update your Preferred Currency setting in COMPASS and the different places in COMPASS that this setting impacts

Preferred Currency

The Preferred Currency setting in COMPASS updates the default currency selected when a GC user performs one of the following actions:

  • Assigning a qualification

  • Leaving a review on a Company Qualification Flow

  • Creating a Project Approval Request

For example, if USD is selected as the Preferred Currency, when a user assigns a qualification on a sub, USD will be selected by default.

​Note: This setting defaults to your GC Company's home country's currency if it hasn't been manually updated by the user.

How to Update your Preferred Currency in COMPASS

  1. Upon login to COMPASS, click the dropdown arrow option in the top-right corner of the page to display two options, My Settings and Sign Out.
    ​

  2. Click My Settings to open the User Settings page.
    ​

  3. Click Account Settings to open your account settings.
    ​

  4. In the Other section at the bottom of the page, there is the Preferred Currency setting. Click to open the dropdown and click again on your preferred currency to update update this setting.
