To share basic project details with all subcontractors in COMPASS, a project needs to be set to public. When a project is set to public, the following details are shared with subcontractors on the GC Network:

  • Project Name

  • Project Type

  • Location

  • Estimated Start Date

How to Set a Project to Public in COMPASS

  1. From the project and bid management page in COMPASS, in the top-right dropdown menu, click Add Project and then Create Project to open the Add New Project flyout.

  2. Fill out the necessary project details. Once project details have been added, scroll to the checkbox labeled "Public - share basic project details with subcontractors in COMPASS". Check the checkbox to set the project to Public.
Note: Projects that Require a Non-Disclosure Agreement cannot be set to Public.

  3. Click Save to create the new project that is set to Public. Subcontractors will now see basic project details on the GC network for your company.
