Overview
This article describes how to, as a GC, invite a user to a company from the Bid Packages page in COMPASS ITB.
From the Bid Package list, click the row of the subcontractor company that will have a user invited to it.
In the flyout, fill out the following fields with the necessary information to invite a user to the company.
First Name - First name of user being invited
Last Name - Last name of user being invited
Email Address (required) - Email address of user being invited
Phone Number - Phone number of user being invited
Add user to this bid list checkbox - When checked, the user is invited to the company AND the Bid package. When unchecked, the user is only invited to the company
Click Add User to add the user to the company and the bid package. The user has now been invited to the Sub company and to the bid package.
The newly invited user will receive an email stating they've been added to the new company. The Admin users at the company will also receive a notification stating that a user was added by the GC.
Once the sub has been invited, they will be able to bid on the opportunity. If there was an email domain match the new user will be able to bid on all opportunities.
Additionally, if the newly invited email was already a part of a Project Template but wasn't tied to a company, the Project Template will automatically combine the lone email and the company into a single record.
