Overview
This article describes how to add users to a sub company on behalf of the sub company from the Add Bidders page in COMPASS ITB.
From the Add Bidders page, locate the sub company that will have a user invited to it.
Click the Add New button below the last contact at the company to display the Add new user to company modal.
Fill out the following fields to add the user to the company. Click Add User to add the user to the company.
First Name - First name of user being invited
Last Name - Last name of user being invited
Email Address (required) - Email address of user being invited
Phone Number - Phone number of user being invited
The newly invited user will receive an email stating they've been added to the new company. The Admin users at the company will also receive a notification stating that a user was added by the GC.
Once the sub has been invited, they will be able to bid on the opportunity. If there was an email domain match the new user will be able to bid on all opportunities.
Additionally, if the newly invited email was already a part of a Project Template but wasn't tied to a company, the Project Template will automatically combine the lone email and the company into a single record.
