How to set a GC user as a Purchasing Contact

Set your staff as Purchasing Contacts to share their basic contact info and get connected with more subs

GCs can set their own users as Purchasing Contacts in COMPASS. When a user is set as a Purchasing Contact, their basic contact information will be displayed on the GC profile in the Subcontractor side of COMPASS.

This article describes how to set a GC user as a Purchasing Contact in COMPASS.

  1. As an Admin user, open the Company Directory to display the list of active users at your company.

  2. Locate the user that needs to be set as a Business Development Contact, and click the context menu on the right. Click Edit to open the edit user modal.

  3. Check the Purchasing Contact checkbox. If enabled the following details will be shared with subcontractors on the GC profile

    1. Name

    2. Offices

    3. Phone Number

    4. Email


  4. Click Update to save update the user. The user is now set as a Purchasing Contact.
