Documents from a subcontractor’s latest 1Form submission can now directly added to the Attachments tab of a Qualification Request or a Project Approval Request. This new feature eliminates the need to first download files from the Document Centre on a subcontractor’s profile page and then re-upload them, saving time and ensuring accuracy.
Follow the steps below to quick add documents:
Navigate to Qualification Management or Project Approval Requests and open the Details flyout for a request by hovering over the appropriate row in either table and clicking the "Details ->" icon that appears.
Click on the Workflow Attachments tab in the flyout if you're adding documents to a Qualification Request or the Request Attachments tab if you're adding documents to a Project Approval Request.
Click the + Add Documents From Latest Submission button.
A modal titled Add Documents from Latest 1Form will appear. This modal features:
A table of all attachments and documents from the subcontractor’s most recent 1Form submission, each linked to a specific question and section.
PDFs of full sections where the 1Form question is labeled “COMPASS [Section Name] Question Form” (e.g., COMPASS Business Question Form is a PDF of the Business section).
A search bar to quickly find documents from the submission.
Pagination controls to view more documents at once or move between pages.
Submission details including date, time and the user who submitted the form.
Select the documents you want to upload and click the add button in the bottom-right corner of the modal. The documents available to you will depend on your COMPASS user role (see the Permissions section for details).
After adding the documents, two green toast messages will appear in the top-right corner, confirming that the documents were successfully linked and uploaded.
The selected documents will now appear in the flyout. If additional files (outside the subcontractor’s 1Form) need to be uploaded, you can add them as usual through the file upload area beneath the Add button..
The documents you can quick add and view in COMPASS attachment tabs depend on your user role. These permissions apply only to documents sourced from a subcontractor’s 1Form submission. Documents uploaded manually from outside of the 1Form are not affected.
Admin users
Can add any document from the subcontractor’s 1Form to both Qualification Requests and Project Approval Requests.
Can view all attachments from the subcontractor’s 1Form in the attachment tabs.
Prequalification users
Can add any document from the subcontractor’s 1Form to both Qualification Requests and Project Approval Requests.
Can view all attachments from the subcontractor’s 1Form in the attachment tabs.
Prequalification (Non-Finance) users
Can add any non-Finance documents from the subcontractor’s 1Form to Project Approval Requests only.
Can view all attachments in the Request Attachments tab except Finance documents.
Health and Safety users
Can add documents from the subcontractor’s 1Form in the Health and Safety or ESG (Sustainability) sections to Project Approval Requests only.
Can view only Health and Safety or ESG attachments in the Request Attachments tab.
Bid users
Cannot add any documents from the subcontractor’s 1Form.
Cannot view any documents added from the subcontractor’s 1Form in the Request Attachments tab.
