My Public Site
Your COMPASS Public Site is a shareable website that allows you to showcase your company to anyone viewing the link. You can customize it with your branding, project history, team, client testimonials, and more.
Getting Started
To access your Public Site, go to “My Public Site” in your COMPASS navigation sidebar. From there, you can edit your content and preview how it looks to the public. Any modifications you make are live immediately.
To view your live page, click “View My Site” at the top of the editor. This opens your Public Site in a new tab, and this shows you how your site looks live.
What You Can Customize
Hero Section
The hero section is the first thing visitors see. You can set:
Company Introduction: A short tagline or description (up to 150 characters)
Trades: Up to 10 trades displayed on your page. You can search by trade name or CSI/NAICS number in the editor.
Logo: By default, the logo used for the public site is your company profile’s logo. However, you can upload a separate logo for the public site and change the top bar colour as well.
Your Public Site will also automatically display:
Your most recent Q Score
A “Top X%” badge if you rank within the top 25% of your primary trade
When you joined COMPASS
Sections
You can build out your Public Site with the following sections. Each one can be filled in through the editor (any sections left blank will not be displayed on the Public Site):
Stats Highlight up to 4 key numbers about your business (e.g. projects completed, years in business). You can set both the label and value.
Our Story & Values Share your company background and what you stand for. Includes a tagline, a longer story field, and a values section.
Our Projects Add project cards with a year, location, description, and an optional (but highly recommended) photo.
Client Testimonials Add quotes from clients, including their name, company, and location.
Meet Our Team Introduce key team members with their contact info and an optional (but highly recommended) photo.
Service Coverage Displays the regions and states/provinces you have offices in, as well as highlighting your head office automatically.
The areas highlighted in this section can be edited by navigating to Company Directory then Offices. You can edit the location of an existing office here or add a new office location by clicking the Add Office button.
Contact Us
A contact form is included on every Public Site so prospects can reach out directly. You can configure:
The phone number displayed on the page
Who receives inbound messages: you can add multiple email recipients, and the primary user and Business Development role users are included automatically
When someone submits the form the listed recipients will receive the inquiry via email and will have the opportunity to reach out to the visitor via email. You also have the option to hide the Contact Us section from the site.
Reordering Cards
In the Stats, Projects, Testimonials, and Team sections, you can drag and drop cards to reorder them while editing. Changes apply as soon as you release them.
Sharing Your Public Site
Once your site is set up, you can copy the link by either selecting “Copy Link to My Site” while in the edit view or by copying the URL from the tab that opens upon clicking “View My Site” and share it anywhere, such as in proposals, email signatures, on LinkedIn, or directly with prospects.
