The COMPASS 1Form simplifies the prequalification process for subcontractors, enabling them to submit their qualifications efficiently. This knowledge-based article provides a step-by-step guide on navigating and submitting a COMPASS 1Form. By following these instructions, subcontractors can complete their prequalification submissions and increase their chances of securing construction projects. COMPASS's auto-save feature saves progress automatically, and if you have used COMPASS before, your new submission will be pre-filled with information from your last submission, saving you time.

Accessing the COMPASS Platform:

To begin, access the COMPASS platform through your web browser or using the provided link. Make sure you have your login credentials to access your COMPASS account.

Navigating to the COMPASS 1Form:

After logging in, you will land on the COMPASS Dashboard. Look for a tab or link labeled "COMPASS 1Form" or "Prequalification" and click on it to access the 1Form section.

Reviewing the 1Form Sections:

Within the COMPASS 1Form section, you will see various sections or categories related to prequalification information. Take a moment to review the sections to familiarize yourself with the required information.

Completing the 1Form:

Begin completing the 1Form by providing accurate and up-to-date information in each section. Fill in all the required fields, including company details, financial information, safety records, and project history.

Auto-Save Feature and Pre-Filled Information:

COMPASS utilizes an auto-save feature, ensuring that your progress is automatically saved as you fill out the 1Form. If you have used COMPASS before, your new submission will be pre-filled with information from your last submission, saving you time.

Reviewing and Editing:

Once you have completed the entire 1Form, take the time to review your entries for accuracy and completeness. Use the provided navigation buttons to go back and edit any section that requires modifications.

Submitting the 1Form:

When you are confident that all the information is accurate and complete, locate the "Submit" button on the main sections page. If you are currently editing a section you can click "back to sections" to return to the 1Form main screen.

Confirmation and Next Steps:

After submitting the 1Form, you will receive a confirmation message indicating that your prequalification has been successfully submitted. Follow any additional instructions provided on the screen regarding next steps or any further actions required.
