Introduction:

The QScore is a powerful tool provided by COMPASS that measures subcontractor risk and evaluates their performance in various areas, including Business, Finance, and Health & Safety. In this knowledge base article, we will delve into what the QScore is, how it is calculated, and the significant benefits it offers to subcontractors.

Benefits of a High QScore for Subcontractors:

A high QScore brings several advantages to subcontractors, enhancing their competitiveness and opening doors to new opportunities within the construction industry.

Increased Likelihood to Prequalify:

Subcontractors with a high QScore have a greater chance of prequalifying for projects. General contractors often consider QScores when selecting subcontractors for their projects, and higher scores increase the likelihood of being chosen.

Expanded Contract Sizes:

Subcontractors with a high QScore have the opportunity to bid on and secure larger contract sizes. General contractors tend to offer larger project limits to subcontractors with superior QScores, opening doors to more significant business opportunities.

New Business Opportunities:

A strong QScore can attract attention from general contractors and other subcontractors seeking reliable and high-performing partners. Subcontractors with impressive QScores may gain access to exclusive business opportunities and collaborations.

Marketing and Promotion:

A high QScore can be used as a powerful marketing tool. Subcontractors can showcase their QScore achievements to highlight their credibility and reliability within the industry. This recognition can be utilized in bid packages, displayed in offices, added to websites and email signatures, and shared on social media platforms.
