Adding Resources is a fairly straightforward process, which allows you to add your own resources to the CLASSROOM Platform, linking them to appropriate objectives and allowing to upload individual resources or a bank of resources for a specific objective, for either internal use or for use across the Complete Mathematics community.

This article will show you how to add your own resources to the platform, linking them to the appropriate objectives and sharing them with the Complete Maths community, to use in lesson planning and to set as homework or classwork.

Here's how you do it:

1) Navigate to the Resources page of the platform, or alternatively to the resources tab within your chosen objective (via the Curriculum Page, or when lesson planning)

2) Click '+ Resource'. On this page you can complete the details of your resource. 

3) You can begin by giving your resource a name, selecting what category it is, thinking about how you would use it in the classroom and then select the type. 

4) You can now add the content, if the resource has a separate solution, click 'Yes' under 'Add a Solution?' and complete as before. You can click 'Show Help' if you are unsure what to select at any point.

5) Next you can add the 'Teaching Notes' and 'Pupil Notes' to explain how to use the resource to another teacher and any necessary instructions for pupils. 

6) Finally, 'Link to the Curriculum' will be completed automatically if adding the resource from within the objective, otherwise you can choose the objective to link it to. (this ensures that next time you or your colleagues are teaching this objective you can quickly find the relevant resources you have added.)

Now you can publish your resource. When you click 'Publish' a box will pop-up for you to select who to share this resource with. There are 4 options here:
• Private (don't tick any boxes) - only you and your students can use the resource.
• Your Institute - colleagues on the same school account will be able to use your resource.
• Friends - other users that you have 'friended' can use the resource.
• Public - any Complete Mathematics user can use your resource.

Upon completion, you will return you to the page you were on, and your resource will now be added for use as classwork, homework or general use.

Can friends outside my establishment still access Resources if I have friended them?
If you have set your Resource to 'Friends' then only your friends on Complete Mathematics have visibility to the Resource (and yourself, of course!) regardless of which establishment they are in.

Is there a limit to the amount of Resources I can upload to a specific objective?
Definitely not! If you feel like you have lots of Resources that are relevant to a specific objective and you want to upload them all, then by all means - go for it! We don't limit teachers from supplying Resources to the platform.

I've come across a Resource that has a broken link, how can I report this to your team?
Get in contact with us at support@completemaths.com with the name of the resource and which objective you found it, and we can remove the resource or repair the link if we can!
