In part to protect any historic results, progression and class data, pupils can't be deleted from the platform once added. Pupils can however be removed from classes and if removed from all classes within an academic year they will be archived.

Here’s how to do it:

  • Go to the Manage Pupils page (via School Settings for those with School Admin permission).

  • Switch to the latest academic year, and you'll find the Manage Pupils table populated with those pupils assigned to classes.

  • To remove a pupil from just one class you can first use the filtering tool to show only the class you wish to remove a pupil from.

  • When you have found the pupil you are looking to remove and select them the bar above the pupil names will turn blue, and will show buttons 'Edit' and 'Add to Class'.

  • If you select 'Edit' you can remove a pupil from a class by unticking said class under the 'classes' tab.

  • To remove a pupil from all classes and 'archive' them you simply untick all classes under the 'classes' tab at this stage.

  • The 'Add to Class' button will allow you add pupils to any classes from the selected academic year.
