Here we run through the full Assignments process on Complete Maths — assigning resources as classwork or homework, and then monitoring and accessing the pupil activity on your assignments.

Top tip: Skip to around halfway to watch just the monitoring & tracking part!

Find our support article on creating a new assignment, the first part of this video, here.

To monitor & track submissions, reflections and discussions for assigned work:

• Go to the Classes page in the top menu, and select the appropriate class
• Select the Assignments tab in the Class sub-menu

Here you are shown the collection of all assignments for this particular class—classwork & homework.

On each assignment card you will find a number of at a glance stats including: how many pupils in the class have viewed/opened the assignment on their platform account, how many have submitted their work, how many have added a reflection to this assignment, and how many discussions are active with your pupils, alongside some further details of the assignment itself.

• Click on the View Assignment button on the card you wish to inspect further

Those at a glance stats are found again at the top of this new page. In the table below you will find a breakdown of the pupil activity, with a link to each piece of available content.

• Click on any item found within the Submitted, Reflection, or Discussion columns to open the content. You can download submissions, and see the content timestamps.
• Active discussions will show as red in the table, though you are able to send a message on both active and inactive discussions — to answer a pupil's question or perhaps to proactively provide feedback to pupils on their work.

Top tip
• Click on the column titles to sort the table by that column, quickly identifying pupils who haven't yet viewed or submitted an assignment, or perhaps to identify active discussions you need to reply to.
