For any lesson on Complete Mathematics, you can add notes to your lesson plan in the notes section. Here you might want to write what you plan to do in the lesson, which support materials you are going to use (e.g Example Problem Pair Exercise or Review Key Vocab), or even record an off-timetable lesson retrospectively.

For any note you add, you have the option to make it viewable to pupils in the class, meaning you can create and share notes for class-wide announcements, homework reminders, instructions or otherwise.

Here's how to do it:

  • Go to a lesson via your Timetable page

  • Navigate to the Lesson Notes section, clicking 'Notes' in the menu on the left-hand side of your lesson page.

  • Next click 'Add' to open a new note.

  • Compose your note, implementing available formatting as desired: bold, italic, bullet points, number lists, and even entering LaTeX formulas.

  • Once you have finished typing your note click 'Save'.

  • If you want your note to be visible to pupils in the lesson, click on the silhouette symbol 'πŸ‘₯ ' at the bottom of the note, which will turn blue indicating that this note can now be seen by pupils.

  • You can edit or delete notes by clicking the three-dot options button.
