When do assessments show up on a Pupil's dashboard?

Readiness Quizzes, Date Range Quizzes, and Tests all appear in the Quizzes section of the pupil dashboard at the appropriate times

All assessments that you create on CLASSROOM β€” Readiness Quizzes, Date Range Quizzes, and Tests β€” appear in the Quizzes section of the pupil dashboard at the appropriate times. In this way, pupils don't need to worry about doing anything different to access the assessment you have set for them.

When the assessment shows in the pupil dashboard is dependent on what type of assessment it is:

  • Readiness Quizzes: for the 2 weeks before the 'host' lesson, and 2 weeks afterwards, whilst incomplete.

In this way you can assess whether pupils are ready for the content in the lead up to the lesson.

  • Date Range Quizzes: on the day of the 'host' lesson, and for 2 weeks afterwards, whilst incomplete.

In this way you can create weekly, formative lesson quizzes on recently taught objectives, as classwork or homework!

  • Tests: between the chosen Availability date and Due date range, whilst incomplete.
Built using the Test builder on the Assessments page, you can hand-pick when these assessments show up for pupils.

Note: If a pupil does not complete an assessment whilst it is on the Dashboard, it can still be accessed and completed. Pupils can find all quizzes in the appropriate lesson on the Timetable, and all Tests in the Assignments page. They can also find all completed or incomplete assessments on the Results page.
