Readiness Quizzes can be used to identify whether a pupil is ready to learn their current goal, or to take a quiz on a particular prerequisite of that goal. This is a personalised diagnostic tool that can identify and then plug any gaps in existing knowledge.
Here's how a general Readiness quiz on TUTOR can be accessed:
When a Pupil logs in to TUTOR they will land on their Dashboard
Under the section titled 'My Courses' they will find their assigned Courses
Click 'Start Course' to be taken to the course page where they will see all the Ideas under the course.
Click 'Start' on an Idea, and you will see a list of Goals within the Idea.
Click 'Start' on a Goal to open the Goal
From the 'My Goal' step, you can click on the “Continue to Readiness” button, or you can click on the 'Readiness' step at the top.
Here you can review the prerequisites for the selected Goal, and whether they are already secure, or require additional work.
Click 'Quiz Me Now' to generate a Readiness Quiz on those prerequisite Goals.
Each time the "Quiz me now" button is pressed a new quiz is generated. The generated quiz contains at least 2 questions from each prerequisite goal and contains a minimum of 4 questions.
Once the quiz is completed the results screen is displayed at the end. This shows the pupil results and instructions on the subsequent action to be taken.

If the pupil has passed the Readiness Quiz, once they click "Finish" they can continue to the learning stage. If the pupil has not passed the readiness quiz, once they click "Finish" they will be directed to the relevant prerequisite knowledge they need to work on to be able to attempt their goal.
