What is a Pupil Target?

You can set a Weekly Pupil Goal Target that pupils can work towards on the 'Goals' view on TUTOR. This appears on the pupils dashboard as a golden line and gives your pupils an amount of goals to work toward for a week. This is an easy way of sharing the amount of work you expect pupils to complete on TUTOR, and gives you an easy waypoint to track progress against.

How do I set a Pupil Target?

Setting up a goals target for your pupils is very simple!

1) Go to the Pupils tab.

2) Select the 'Goals' table mode.

3) Above the table you will see a box called 'Goals Target.'

4) Type the amount of goals you want your pupils to complete per week.

How does a pupil see the weekly target?

A pupil can see their own weekly target on their dashboard via the 'My Activity' section.

Here they can see their goals target, which is shown by the golden line - as well as their current progress towards that goal throughout the week. They will also be able to see if they have hit their goals target!

How can a teacher track the weekly target?

A teacher can see the weekly target for their pupils and how far a pupil has come along to reaching their target via the same view that you set the target.

On the 'Goals' tab, you can see the pupils current progress towards a specific goal target, as well as their amount of goals completed in comparison to last week.
