Each adult in a Family account is able to view the progress that each child in the account is making via the Dashboard or Virtual Display.
Once logged in, the adult can immediately see when each child last logged in to TUTOR under the ‘Last Activity’ column:
An adult is able to view more detailed progress information via the Dashboard in two ways:
Selecting ‘Virtual Display’ in the menu on the left; or
Selecting ‘View Dashboard’ next to the child’s name.
On the Dashboard screen, if you have more than one child in your account, you can select the appropriate child from the dropdown list at the top of the page.
Once the child is selected, you are provided with their progress information. The information is view-only - so you can’t complete any tricky questions for them!
On the Dashboard you can see:
The Courses that they have started or completed.
Their performance in the past 7 days on the Memory Boost quiz.
The Experience level that they have achieved.
All the Awards that they have achieved.
The various sections of TUTOR’s “map of maths” that they have completed.
The number of Goals that they have completed by day, for this week (it always counts from Monday morning to Sunday night) and last week.
For more information about the child’s progress:
In a particular Course, select ‘View Progress’.
For their journey through the “map of maths”, hover over each dot.
A dark green dot means that that learning Goal has been completed.
A light green dot means that that learning Goal has been encountered, but not yet fully completed.
A white dot means the learning Goal has not been encountered yet.
To see which Awards they have received, select ‘View All’.
Select the back arrow at the top of any section to return to the main Dashboard page.
Memory Boost
For information on their progress on TUTOR's daily retrieval practice quiz, Memory Boost, press on the words 'Memory Boost' in the Dashboard. You can then scroll down to see their performance over the past 7 days and also the areas to 'revisit' or 'explore' in their most recent quiz.
Revisit — Goals for which the pupil answered a question incorrectly
Explore — Goals for which the pupil answered a question correctly.
Not included: the Diagnostic assessment
Please note that adult's are not able to access their child's progress/ performance in the Diagnostic assessment. That information is only visible in the child's account.
