Overview
Setting up your Enterprise (Starter) account involves two main steps:
Step 1: Configure your organisation details and business information
Step 2: Set up your user profile and choose your registration method
This guide walks through both steps in detail to ensure your account is configured correctly.
Step 1: Organisation Details Configuration
The first step collects essential information about your business and sets up your organisation profile in ComplyFlow.
Organisation Information
Organisation Name (Required)
Enter your full legal company name
This appears on reports and documents
Cannot be changed after registration without contacting support
Trade Name (Optional)
Enter your business trading name if different from legal name
If left blank, will default to Organisation Name
Used for day-to-day identification in the system
Can be updated later in Account Settings
Business Classification
Country (Required)
Default: Australia
Select your primary business location
Important: Currently, all accounts are hosted in Australian data centres
Future regional data centres will be available
International Users Note:
If you select a country outside Australia/New Zealand:
"Your account will be created in an Australian Data centre. We're working to expand to additional regions soon."
Business Type (Required)
Choose from predefined business categories:
Construction & Building
Mining & Resources
Manufacturing
Government & Public Sector
Professional Services
Other Industries
Contractor Partner Count (Optional)
Select the range that best describes your contractor/supplier network:
1-10 contractors
11-50 contractors
51-200 contractors
200+ contractors
Form Validation
Required Fields:
Organisation Name (minimum 2 characters)
Country selection
Business Type selection
Next Button:
Disabled until all required fields are completed
Validates organisation name format
Ensures all selections are made
Troubleshooting Step 1
"Organisation name too short" error:
Names must be at least 2 characters
Use your full legal business name
Contact support if you have a legitimate single-character name
Country not listed:
ComplyFlow supports most countries
If your country isn't listed, select the closest region
Contact support to add missing countries
Business type unclear:
Choose the category that best matches your primary business activity
"Other Industries" can be selected if none fit
Business type can be updated later through Account Settings
Step 2: User Profile Setup
The second step configures your user profile and determines how you'll log into ComplyFlow.
Personal Information
First Name (Required)
Enter your given/first name
Used for system notifications and communications
Can be updated later in user profile settings
Last Name (Required)
Enter your family/surname
Combined with first name for full display name
Used in audit logs and system tracking
Phone Number (Required)
Enter your business contact number
Country Code: Automatically set based on selected country
Format: Automatically formatted as you type
Validation: Must be a valid phone number format
Used for account recovery and important notifications

After entering your personal details, the registration method options appear:

For Multi-Identity Users:
Email Field: Pre-populated with your email
Organisation Selector: Choose which account to access
Password/SSO: Authentication method based on account type
Data Handling and Privacy
Information Storage
Organisation Data: Stored in Australian data centres
User Profile: Encrypted and secured
Contact Information: Used only for account management
Business Details: Used for reporting and compliance features
Data Validation
Phone Numbers: Validated against international formats
Email Addresses: Verified for deliverability and business domains
Names: Checked for reasonable format and length
Country Codes: Validated against supported countries
Privacy Protection
Minimal Data Collection: Only essential business information collected
No Personal Information: Home addresses, personal details not required
Business Use Only: All data used solely for ComplyFlow functionality
Secure Storage: All data encrypted at rest and in transit

Troubleshooting Common Issues
Step 1 Issues
"Invalid country selection" error:
Refresh the page and try again
Clear browser cache if problem persists
Contact support if country is missing
Form won't advance to Step 2:
Check all required fields are completed
Organisation name must be at least 2 characters
Ensure country and business type are selected
Step 2 Issues
"Business email required" error:
Free email addresses (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) are not allowed
Use your company domain email address
Contact support if you don't have a business email
Password strength errors:
Ensure password meets all complexity requirements
Use mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
Try a longer password if still showing as weak
Phone number validation fails:
Use international format appropriate for your country
Remove spaces and special characters except + and -
Try entering just the number without country code
reCAPTCHA not working:
Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser
Try refreshing the page and attempting again
Clear browser cookies and cache
Try a different browser if issues persist
Registration Errors
"Organisation already exists" error:
Another account may already use this organisation name
Contact support to verify existing accounts
Use a more specific organisation name if needed
"Email address already in use" error:
For new registrations: Use a different email address
For multi-identity: This error shouldn't occur - contact support
Microsoft SSO fails:
Ensure you're using a business Microsoft account
Check account has permission to share email address
Try clearing browser cookies for Microsoft domains
Contact your IT administrator for Microsoft account issues
