Modify Completed Inspections

For effective inspection management, you need the Create, View & Modify Inspection (Audit R/RW) permission.

Modify the Inspection Details

1. Once logged in to ComplyFlow, select the module picker > Inspection > Inspections.

2. Find and Open the Inspection

3. Update inspection details by selecting Modify Inspection at the top right.

Edit the Inspection Checklist Items

4. Select the Inspection Checklist Item you want to edit (e.g., Basic Inspection). You can change your selection from Check Mark check or Cross Mark cross, add more details to findings & recommendations, add photos, and change any other details that were entered at the time of the inspection, including changing the due date and the person responsible if there is an action due. Save your changes once complete.

5. You can manually update or change a checklist item’s due date by selecting the date from the dropdown. The date you select will update the priority accordingly.

Select the Due Date field, choose a date from the calendar, then select Save Changes at the top right.

6. The Priority field will update automatically based on the selected date.

  • If no pre-defined priority corresponds to the new date, the Priority field will display - Custom Due Date -.

Edit the Additional Details Section

7. In the Additional Details section, you can add or remove attendees and upload files and/or photos. You can add an Attendee in two ways:

a. Select the checklist item you need to edit. Next, in the Select Staff User dropdown, select the person you want to add. Then, select Add Attendee.

b. Alternatively, select the External Attendee radio button and enter the details of the person you want to add. Then, select Add Attendee, and at the top select Save Changes.

8. To remove existing Attendees, select the Remove button to the right of the persons name.

9. You can also add or remove files in the Additional Details section. Select Add Files to upload or Remove to delete.

Change the Person Responsible for an Action

10. If the Inspection status is currently In Progress, it will not be possible to edit the Person Responsible for the Action or delete the action.

However, when an inspection's status is Completed, you can edit the Person Responsible.

In both statuses, you can still modify the Inspection by selecting the View this Inspection link located at the upper right part of the page. This will direct you back to Inspection module where you can follow step 3 of this guide.

Delete an Action from an Inspection

11. In the Inspection List page, select Manage > Manage Action at the far right of the target Inspection.

12. In the Actions page, select View/Update in the Actions column for the relevant Action.

13. Next, select the Delete button (available for Completed Inspections only).

Export Inspection PDF Report

14. Export your Inspection report as a PDF by selecting Manage > Export PDF in the Inspection List view.

Delete an Inspection

15. In the Inspection List page, select Manage > Delete at the far right end of the Inspection you want to remove.

16. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm deletion by selecting Yes, I'm sure. You can select Cancel to go back.

Inspections cannot be restored once they are deleted.
