Inspection Custom Fields (Configuration)

If you need to add additional fields to your Inspections, follow the steps below.

What is Inspection Custom Field?

The Inspection Custom Fields are additional fields you can add in the Inspection.
Custom Fields can be assigned to a template and allow you to capture specific information during Inspections, providing increased flexibility and personalisation. Custom Fields allow you to customise data collection and management according to specific business needs.

You will need permission to Create, Edit, and Manage Inspections (previously Audit Admin) to manage these settings. For more information, see Staff Permissions Overview

1.Navigate to Inspection > Settings > Inspection Custom Fields and select Create.

2. You will be directed to this page. Enter the name of the Custom Field to be added and then select Save.

3. You can add the newly created Inspection Custom Field(s) to either a newly created Inspection template or an existing template.

a. To include the Inspection Custom Field in an existing template, go to Inspection > Templates. Choose the template where you want to add the additional field(s), then select Actions > Edit.

b. When creating a new Inspection template, navigate to Inspection > Templates > Create Template and scroll down to assign the new Custom Field to the template.
