The Business Edge offers a valuable feature that allows you to establish a free freight threshold specifically tailored for your customer orders. This functionality is designed to enhance your shipping strategy and improve customer satisfaction by setting a minimum order value that qualifies for free shipping. You can easily configure this Customer Free Freight option as a system flag. By implementing this feature, you not only incentivize larger purchases but also streamline your shipping process, making it more cost-effective for your business while providing added convenience to your customers. Setting this threshold can lead to increased sales and a more loyal customer base, as buyers are often encouraged to reach the minimum amount to enjoy the benefit of free shipping. To set this up, first navigate to the system flag below

Once you have successfully configured the system flag for free freight, you can define specific free freight amounts for each individual customer. This customization allows you to cater to the unique purchasing behaviors and preferences of your customers, ensuring that the free freight threshold aligns with their needs.

To set the free freight amount for a particular customer, you will need to access the customer master file click on Additional Information. Here, you can input the designated free freight amount for that customer.

After the flags have been set when in the invoice creation screen and an amount is entered in the freight charges field the system will display a message that the invoice qualifies for free freight based on the order amount
