Release notes January 2025-November 2025

Order and Quote Entry System

1. New Feature-There is now a confirmation warning to Date Requested and Requested Delivery date on the order header, the schedule date and schedule requested delivery date if the user enters a date before today the system will notify them that they chose a date in the past.

2. New Feature-There is now a feature that will allow you to update payment terms on any open orders based on the customer’s default payment terms. The Change Order Terms To Customer Default is located in Order & Quote Entry System, Order Entry File Maintenance, Change Order Terms To Customer Default. There is not an option to undo this once it is run.

Purchase Order System

1. New Feature-There is now a button to sort detail lines in a Purchase Order by Brighton Best warehouse. This button will appear on the right hand side in the detail lines under Sort Detail Lines and will give you the option to sort the lines by the Brighton best warehouse selected when using the Fastener Supply Chain Network

2. New Feature-There is now the ability to import detail lines into an RFQ. The RFQ import button is located in the detail lines of RFQ and will allow users to import product code, alternate and quantity.

3. New Columns Added to Report-The Open Purchase Order Detail Report now has columns for Tariff, Tariff Description, HTS Number, Default Vendor COO, Default Vendor/Product COO and Vendor/Product Comment. The Open Purchase Order Detail Report is located in the Purchase Order System, Purchase Order Reports, Open P.O. Reports, Open Purchase Order Detail Report

4. New Feature-There is now a confirmation box that will appear in enter & edit purchase orders when the po is under the minimum set in the vendor master file. The Vendor PO Minimum Total Value will pop up on the final screen of enter & edit purchase orders with the PO total value and the minimum set on the vendor level.

5. New Feature-Purchase Orders created via the ARS system will now show in the recent list in Enter & Edit Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Inquiry with the limit set to ten.

6. New Filter Added to Report-The Open P.O. Not Confirmed List now has a filter that allows you to filter by the user who entered the purchase order. The Open P.O. Not Confirmed List is located in: Purchase Order System, Purchase Order Reports, Open P.O. Reports, Open P.O. Not Confirmed List

Container Receipts

1. New Columns Added to Report-The Updated Container Report now has columns for general ledger distribution. The Updated Container Report is located in the Purchase Order System, P.O. Receipt Routines, Container Receipts, Container Reports, Updated Container Report

Inventory System

1. New Feature-Units of Measure can now be marked inactive. The Unit of Measure are located in Inventory System,Inventory File Maintenance, UOM, Category & Certificate System, Enter & Edit Units of Measure

2. New Inquiry-There is now a Physical Count History Inquiry. The history will only be available for physical counts that are updated. The Physical count history inquiry is located in Inventory System, Inventory Reports, Adjustment Reports, Physical Count History

Processing Purchase Order System

1. New Feature-There is now an option to clear ppo pick tickets printed. The Clear PPO Picking Ticket Printed is located in Processing P.O. System, Processing P.O. Maintenance, Clear PPO Picking Ticket Printed

Accounts Receivable System

1. New Feature-There is now a report to show a Customer’s Open Balance. The Find Customer Open Balance is located in Accounts Receivable System, Accounts Receivable Reports, Customer Status Reports, Find Customer Open Balance

2. New Fields added to Grid-The Enter & Edit Deposit, Customer Open Invoice screen now has optional columns for Terms, Misc and Tax. The Enter & Edit Deposit is located in Accounts Receivable System, Cash Receipts System, Enter & Edit Deposit

3. New Fields added to Report-The Sales Journal by user report now has optional columns for Slsp, Salesperson, Slsp Email, Manager, Territory, Territory Name, Order Entered By, Order Entered Date, Order Entered Time, AR Account, AR Account Description and Invoice. The Sales Journal by User report is located in Accounts Receivable System, Accounts Receivable Reports, Sales Journals, Sales Journal by User

4. New Inquiry-There is now an inquiry invoices that are contested by a customer. The Contested Customer Invoice Inquiry is located in Accounts Receivable System, Accounts Receivable Reports, Invoice Reports, Contested Customer Invoice Inquiry

5. New Feature- There is now an option to choose how customer open invoices are sequenced in deposits. On the right hand side within the customer open invoice screen there is a button for options which will allow you to choose to sequence the open invoices by Invoice Number, Invoice Date, Due Date or Customer PO. On the same screen you can also Ignore the Check Amount

Accounts Payable System

1. New Feature-There is now a program that will check for duplicate vendor invoices. The program will ask for two vendors and lists their duplicate vendor invoices. This will allow the user to change the vendor invoice number of one of the invoices so that they can run Merge Vendor Records. The new program is located in Accounts Payable System, A/P File Maintenance, Vendor Misc. Maintenance, Check Duplicate Vendor Invoices

General Ledger System

1. New Report-There is now a Summary Trial Balance Inquiry. The Summary Trial Balance Inquiry is located in General Ledger System,General Ledger Reports, Summary Trial Balances, Summary Trial Balance Inquiry

Utilities

1. New Feature-There are now additional filters available to view document connection documents. Such as in a vendor inquiry, on the right hand side if you select Images and Faxes and document connection you can filter your results by Vendor, Vendor Quote, Purchase Order, Vendor Packing List, Processing PO, Vendor Packing List-PPO, Vendor Debit Memo, Vendor Invoice, Vendor Certificate

2. New Feature-There is now a user permission to allow users to edit Country and States. The user permission is located in Utilities, System Administrator System, System Set Up, Miscellaneous Setup, Security System, Edit User Permissions Page 5 of 6

3. New Feature-The pop up notes will now allow you to select from a list of specific users. This will allow you to select from a list of users you want the note to pop up for, which could include yourself with the others

4. New Feature-There is now a user permission for cancel accounts receivable invoices. The user permission is located in Utilities, System Administrator System, System Set Up, Miscellaneous Setup, Security System, Edit User Permissions Page 5 of 6

Certificate Management

1. New Feature-there are now flags in Enter & Edit RFQ and RFQ Inquiry for Certificate Requirements.

User Flags

1. New User Flag-There is now a user flag to add Decorations to Codes. The User Flag is located in Edit/General Flags-Add Decoration to Codes.

2. New User Flag-There is now a user flag that will enable users to automatically open document connection attachments in Adobe. The user flag is located in User Flags-General

3. New User Flag-There is now a user-level flag called "Review Complete Order Schedule?" When set to YES this flag prompts the system to revert to the Detail Line Shipment Schedule whenever a Ship Date is updated on a detail line.
