Pop up by user
The Business Edge has a valuable feature that enables the display of pop-up notes tailored to individual users. This functionality can be configured for designated users, allowing for targeted communication and enhanced user engagement. The specific user pop-up alert provides a flexible and efficient way to deliver important notices, reminders, or information directly within The Business Edge. By selectively assigning pop-up alerts to specific users, you can ensure that critical updates reach the appropriate personnel precisely when needed, thereby improving operational efficiency and communication clarity.
Throughout The Business Edge you have access to Internal Notes for your Customers, Vendors and Inventory. These notes are very conveniently located in the respective Inquiries, File Maintenance as well as in the functional areas that you would most likely want to enter a new note or review previous notes. Below is an example of the Specific User Pop Up Alert for a Product. This can be accessed in product inquiry or Enter & Edit Products on the right-hand side. Simply type the note, choose the category and change the Pop-Up Alert to Specific Users
When you press OK, the screen below appears allowing you to press New Line to select the user you would like to see the note.
Type the user’s name in or press the blue box on the left of the User field to see a list of users to select to see the note. Press New Line for each user you would like to include
