The Business Edge has added a new feature to speed up the Order Entry process. Have you used the new Quick Enter & Edit Orders feature? This is very useful when you have Orders with many detail lines or would like to quickly move from one product to the next when entering Orders or Quotes.
The Quick Order Entry option in The Business Edge enables Users to move quickly through the Order Entry process by eliminating the need to Click or press Enter for a New Line for every Product on an Order or Quote.
Immediately after leaving the first screen where you have selected the Customer etc. the system brings you to Product Code. When you finish the first line it immediately takes you to the next product code entry field.
When you are done with all lines, it will take you back to the Detail Lines with all of the products where you can go back into any individual line or proceed to the Final Screen.
The Business Edge’s Quick Enter & Edit Orders is located in the Documents Tab in the Graphical User Interface right below the normal Enter & Edit Orders. In the Text interface there is a flag that needs to be set to Yes to use this feature – Use Quick Order Pad in TUI. This flag is located in Entity & System Flags – Order Entry screen 7 of 7.
